Keep your device's clock perfectly synced with global changes. tzroller by Sina-Ghaderi seamlessly injects the latest IANA Time Zone Database into your Android system, ensuring accurate local times and Daylight Saving Time (DST) transitions even on older, unsupported firmware.
Accurate Global Time
A lightweight, systemless fix for outdated Android timezone rules and discontinued OEM updates.
Latest IANA Data
Provides the most up-to-date time zone rules and DST changes directly from the globally recognized IANA database.
Purely Systemless
Replaces the tzdata files entirely in memory via bind-mounts. Your core Android system files remain untouched and secure.
Universal Support
Designed to be compatible with standard Magisk, KernelSU, and APatch across a wide range of Android versions and OEM ROMs.
How It Works
Android uses a specific file called tzdata (usually located in /system/usr/share/zoneinfo/ or an APEX module on newer Android versions) to calculate local time offsets. When governments alter their timezone regulations, older devices without active OTA updates fall behind and display incorrect times.
tzroller elegantly bypasses this limitation. During the boot process, the module intercepts the system's attempt to read the outdated time zone file and bind-mounts a freshly compiled, up-to-date tzdata file in its place. Because this occurs at the root overlay level, all apps and system services instantly read the correct time configurations.
