How It Works
Android loads permission and hardware-feature declarations from XML files across system partitions. On some China-market ROMs, those declarations explicitly mark cn.google.services as unavailable. The module discovers recognized files, creates filtered copies, and overlays those copies at boot.
Because the original files remain intact, disabling or uninstalling the module restores the firmware's declarations after reboot. The module does not patch Google Play services, change an account's country, or certify the device.
Suitable Devices and Setup
Use this module only when the ROM contains the documented regional restriction and Google Mobile Services is already present. Install it through the root manager, confirm that the installer detects a relevant path, reboot, and then check the previously unavailable feature.
If nothing changes, inspect whether the current firmware uses a different partition or configuration mechanism. For newer root frameworks or vendor layouts, the KOWX712 fork adds updated mounting logic while preserving this project's original purpose.
