About this module

System App Nuker (SAN) is an advanced systemless debloating module designed to eliminate pre-installed system apps, OEM bloatware, and unwanted background analytics without altering your device's physical partitions. By leveraging systemless overlay mounts, it restores RAM, extends battery endurance, and cleans up your Android environment safely.

Clean, Systemless Debloating

Gain complete control over your installed packages and strip away vendor bloatware with zero risk to partition integrity.

Pure Systemless

Removes target system applications dynamically at boot. Your read-only /system, /product, and /vendor blocks remain pristine for seamless OTA updates and integrity checks.

Resource Recovery

Halts persistent manufacturer tracking daemons, analytics, and unneeded vendor background services to free up working RAM and lower idle CPU usage.

Universal Root Support

Fully compatible across modern root solutions including Magisk, KernelSU, KernelSU Next, and APatch with unified path handling.

Under the Hood: Overlay Unmounting

System App Nuker replaces target application directories with empty virtual mount points during the early boot process. When the Android package manager scans system paths (/system/app, /system/priv-app, /product/app, /system_ext/app), the targeted packages are treated as non-existent.

Because no physical files are deleted from the disk image, any removed application can be instantly restored by modifying the configuration list or removing the module.

# Systemless removal routine during post-fs-data
TARGET_APP="/system/priv-app/UnwantedCarrierService"
if [ -d "$TARGET_APP" ]; then
mount -t tmpfs -o size=0M tmpfs "$TARGET_APP"
fi
# Result: Package Manager detects an empty mount point and ignores package loading
