Smart Step Manager (智能步数管理, module ID S-T-E-P-S) is a KernelSU and Magisk module for Xiaomi HyperOS that raises your step count automatically. It's maintained by 浠浠浠, based on the original by 阿巴酱 and 小青泽, and controlled from a WebUI.
How it works
The script inserts step records straight into HyperOS's step provider, content://com.miui.providers.steps, at an interval you set. It reads the day's total back from its log and shows it in the module description.
- How often to add steps (default every minute; seconds, minutes or hours).
- A random amount between two numbers, or a fixed amount each time.
- An active window (default 07:30 to 22:30), optionally different at weekends, so steps don't pile up at night.
- A daily target where it stops, and an option to add the remainder at once when the window ends.
- Whether it restarts after midnight and whether to keep logs. While the screen is off it doesn't run; it catches up after wake-up.
Settings take effect without a reboot and live in /sdcard/Android/步数管理配置/设置自定义参数.conf, with logs in the same folder.
Installation
- You need Xiaomi HyperOS with KernelSU or Magisk.
- Install the release zip (not the source archive) from your root manager and reboot if asked.
- Open the WebUI to start or stop the task, restart its processes, refresh the status, change settings and check for updates. The update check only tells you about new versions; it doesn't install them.
It can fail if battery or performance restrictions are frozen, or if the phone's clock is out of sync with network time. The interface is in Chinese.
