About this module

ReSuSFS by ahmed-alnassif is a KernelSU module with a WebUI that turns SuSFS into plain config files and switches. A set of hiding scripts is switched on out of the box, so it works without any setup, and you can fine-tune everything later.

Requirements

  • KernelSU or BakaSU. The author supports only these two and advises against KernelSU Next.
  • SuSFS itself is optional: either a kernel with SuSFS built in (for example the author's GKID kernels), or a supported GKI kernel, in which case ReSuSFS loads inforcqb's SuSFS LKM for you.

The LKM is detected from your kernel, downloaded when you flash the module or tap Action, loaded at post-fs-data on every boot and skipped when SuSFS is already built in. Supported KMIs run from android12-5.10 to android17-6.18. Files go to /data/adb/ReSuSFS_LKM/.

Config files

Everything lives in /data/adb/ReSuSFS/. Missing or empty files simply mean nothing to apply.

FilePurpose
sus_paths.txt / sus_paths_loop.txtHide fixed paths / paths that keep changing
sus_maps.txtHide mapped library files
kstat_paths.txtSpoof file stats for bind-mounted paths
open_redirect.txtRedirect one path to another
uname.txtSpoof kernel release and version
cmdline_or_bootconfig.txtSpoof /proc/cmdline or /proc/bootconfig
config.txtKernel flags: mount hiding, logging, AVC spoofing
scripts_postfs.txt, scripts_bootcompleted.txt, scripts_cron.txtWhich scripts run at each boot stage, and on a schedule

Built-in hiding scripts

  • At post-fs-data: hide the bootloader unlock state in cmdline/bootconfig, hide file stats for framework paths, set KernelSU hiding features, and spoof uname.
  • At boot-completed: hide module mounts, spoof root-revealing properties and custom ROM fingerprints, spoof developer-options settings, hide Zygisk libraries and module fonts from memory maps, hide recovery traces, root tools and custom ROM paths, and clean up leftover markers on shared storage.

Remove a script's name from the scripts list files to turn it off.

WebUI and installation

  • A status dashboard showing whether SuSFS is active and which features the kernel has enabled.
  • A full-screen editor and file manager for every config file, plus toggles for kernel flags.
  • UserHub: write your own shell scripts and run them at post-fs-data, at boot-completed or on a schedule, with run logs. Backup and restore of the whole configuration.

Flash the zip in the KernelSU manager and reboot; a full reboot is required after every install or update. When updating, it asks with the volume keys before replacing your configs. Version 26.10.16 removed hidden_api_policy, so review older configs after updating. GPL-3.0.
