QSC-Battery (shown as 充电控制, "charge control") stops charging when the battery reaches a level or temperature you set and resumes later. It runs on Magisk, KernelSU and APatch. The original idea came from top大佬; it's maintained by 许小墨 (Eikeitsu) and has grown into a module, WebUI, companion app and CLI.
What it does
- Stop charging by battery level or temperature and resume when conditions recover. You can turn off the level limit and keep only temperature control.
- Rules by time of day, by foreground app, and separate handling for wireless charging.
- Optional current control, off by default and chosen at install: bypass charging, slow charging, temperature steps and limits while gaming.
- Tiered power saving with screen-off and deep-sleep modes; the optional
qscddaemon reacts to power events instead of polling. - Logs, charge events, charging curves and battery health trends, plus device profiles for different charging interfaces.
Which file to download
…-full.zip: what most people want. Includes the daemons, the WebUI and the embedded companion app.…-lite.zip: scripts only, smaller, with no WebUI, no embedded APK and no daemon.QSC-Battery_….apk: the companion app on its own.
The release also has -c, -rust and -sh builds that differ in which daemon they use.
Installation and use
- Flash the zip and confirm with the volume keys. The installer asks about the WebUI, current control, the companion app and downloading the daemon.
- When updating you can keep your settings. Older
QuantitativeStopChargingmodules are removed automatically, without moving their settings. - After rebooting, adjust things in the WebUI, the app or
config/config.conf. The log is indata/log.log. - Action button: Volume Up refreshes the status; Volume Down tests the charging switch while plugged in, or writes a diagnostics report when unplugged.
There's also a command line tool at /data/adb/qsc/bin/qsc (status, config, stats, diagnose). The interface and documentation are in Chinese; the docs are on eikeitsu.github.io/QSC-Battery.
