MIUI Leica Camera Port for AOSP packages a Xiaomi camera application and supporting system components for selected AOSP-based ROMs on compatible Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO devices.
Xiaomi Camera Components on AOSP
A large, device-sensitive port intended to provide the MIUI camera interface and Leica-related options outside a complete MIUI or HyperOS system.
Ported Camera App
Installs a MIUI-derived camera package rather than merely changing the appearance of the existing AOSP camera.
Leica Interface
The release is intended to expose Leica-branded presentation and camera options when the device camera stack supports them.
Systemless Package
The archived build is named for Magisk and KernelSU installation, allowing removal through the manager if the port is incompatible.
Compatibility Is Device-Specific
The word Universal is part of the release filename, not a guarantee that every Android device or AOSP ROM is supported. A working port depends on Xiaomi camera providers, sensor IDs, proprietary libraries, permissions, framework interfaces, SELinux policy, Android version, and the ROM's existing camera stack.
Treat the package as a Xiaomi-family camera port. Do not install it on an unrelated brand, and do not assume that portrait, auxiliary lenses, video stabilization, high-resolution modes, watermarks, or every Leica option will work merely because the app opens.
Careful Installation
- Confirm that other users have tested this exact build on the same device codename, Android version, and ROM branch.
- Back up the current boot image and preserve a method for disabling modules outside Android.
- Remove another MIUI camera port that would mount the same packages or libraries.
- Download the archived package using the page control and install it through Magisk or KernelSU.
- Reboot, clear the camera app data if required by the device-specific guidance, then test one camera mode and lens at a time.
