Meow Zygisk is MeowDump's (MEOWna) personal fork of ReZygisk by PerformanC. It's a standalone Zygisk: it injects into Zygote with ptrace and loads your Zygisk modules without Magisk's built-in Zygisk. The fork has its own WebUI that shows whether 64-bit and 32-bit injection is working.
Requirements
- Magisk 26402+, KernelSU with ksud 11425+ (kernel 10940+), or APatch 10655+. On KernelSU the installer stops if Magisk is also present.
- Android 7.1 (API 25) or newer on arm, arm64, x86 or x86_64.
- Install from the root manager app. Flashing from recovery is not supported.
Installation
- Download the release zip, the one without
debugin its name. The debug build logs heavily and is only for collecting logs for a bug report. - On Magisk, turn off the built-in Zygisk option in Settings. If you leave it on, the module does nothing and adds
[❌ Disable Magisk's built-in Zygisk]to its description. - Install the zip from the Modules page of your root manager. The installer checks every file against its SHA-256 and aborts if the zip is corrupted.
- Reboot. The module description should read like
Status: ✅, Zygisk 64-bit: ✅, Zygisk 32-bit: ✅.
The module id is rezygisk, so installing it overwrites ReZygisk if you have it. It also marks Zygisk Next (zygisksu) for removal on the next reboot.
What it does at boot
post-fs-data.shrecreates/data/adb/rezygiskand starts thezygisk-ptrace64monitor (orzygisk-ptrace32on 32-bit-only devices), which handles the Zygote injection.- On Magisk it also runs the
post-fs-data.shandservice.shof your other enabled Zygisk modules, because Magisk skips them while its own Zygisk is off. - It puts
rezygisk.shin/data/adb/post-fs-data.d/andpost-mount.d/to reset the module description each boot, even when the module is disabled. - On Huawei devices with Maple enabled, it sets
ro.maple.enable=0so system_server goes through Zygote.
WebUI and bug reports
- The WebUI shows the daemon and Zygote state per architecture, the loaded Zygisk modules and device info, and can copy all of it to the clipboard. It's available in English, Arabic, Russian and Chinese.
- The Debug logging switch creates
/data/adb/rezygisk/log. After a reboot, mda.shsaves a full logcat to/data/local/tmp/DebugAssistant*.log, keeping up to three boots. - If the description shows ⚠️, press the Action button. It takes the newest of those logs, removes IP and MAC addresses, Wi-Fi names and e-mail addresses, and saves the result as
/sdcard/Logs/DebugAssistant-Redacted.log. Send that file to the developer on Telegram (@TempMeow, group @MeowDump).
Uninstalling removes /data/adb/rezygisk and the scripts in post-fs-data.d and post-mount.d. Version 3 fixed 64-bit and 32-bit injection failures on some devices and a bootloop after a failed injection, and added optional debug logging for release builds. The author calls it a personal project with no promise of active maintenance. GPL-3.0 (the README says AGPL-3.0).
