Expected Results
A more suitable assistance-server or timing configuration may shorten the first fix on a compatible device, but accuracy and lock time still depend on the chipset, ROM GNSS stack, region, sky visibility, antenna quality, cached assistance data, and satellite conditions.
Installation
- Download the module ZIP from the release controls on this page.
- Install it from the Magisk Modules screen; the developer specifically advises against recovery installation.
- Reboot and enable the device's location service.
- Move outdoors with a clear view of the sky, calibrate the compass if needed, and allow a GNSS test application time to obtain its first fix.
- Compare repeatable cold-start results before and after installation rather than judging a single fix.
