Google Dialer Framework adds system feature declarations and a support library that let eligible non-Pixel devices install and run the Google Phone application.
Compatibility Layer for Google Phone
The module advertises dialer and Pixel-related capabilities expected by Google Phone without bundling the dialer APK itself.
Support Library
Mounts com.google.android.dialer.support.jar and declares its shared-library entry.
Dialer Feature
Adds com.google.android.apps.dialer.SUPPORTED so Play Store and Google Phone can recognize a compatible device.
Pixel Declarations
Declares several Pixel experience features used to suppress the unsupported-device message in older Google Phone builds.
What the Module Does Not Include
Google Dialer Framework does not install Google Phone. If Google Phone already installs and opens without an unsupported-device error, the module is unnecessary. Calling features still depend on the ROM, carrier services, modem integration, permissions, and the Google Phone version.
Installation
- Download the module ZIP and install it from the Magisk application.
- Reboot the phone.
- If Play Store still marks Google Phone incompatible, clear Play Store data; clear Google Play services data only if the first step is insufficient, then restart.
- Install Google Phone from Play Store and set it as the default dialer.
- Place a test call and verify incoming calls, Bluetooth routing, voicemail, and emergency-dialer access.
