Gaming Mode is a legacy Magisk package that applies broad boot-time kernel, network, audio, graphics, and device-identity changes intended for gaming workloads.

Attempts to change scheduler features, panic handling, thermal controls, wakelocks, sound gain, filesystem behavior, and debug parameters.
Network and Properties
Applies TCP settings and numerous Android properties, including graphics, Bluetooth codec, SQLite, display, and touch values.
What to Expect
The source contains generic writes for kernel nodes that may not exist on a given device. Unsupported paths generally fail, while supported paths can materially change thermal protection, crash recovery, audio gain, networking, and storage behavior.
The project provides no controlled benchmark demonstrating universal FPS, latency, or battery improvements. Device spoofing may unlock a game's profile, but it cannot add GPU capability or guarantee that the game will use the requested settings.
Installation
- Create a bootable backup and confirm that the module can be removed from recovery.
- Install the ZIP through Magisk.
- Use the volume keys during installation to choose a game-specific spoof profile or the default option.
- Reboot and test thermals, audio, Bluetooth, camera, storage, network stability, and the selected game before daily use.
