About this module

Dolby Atmos Magic Revision is a reworked Dolby Surround port that integrates a global equalizer effect on Android devices with a compatible 32-bit HIDL audio stack.

Global Dolby Surround

A mature audio port with profile persistence, root-manager integration, and explicit audio-service requirements.

Atmos Interface

Includes a Dolby control application whose current upstream build saves profile and state changes from the interface.

Global Effect

Registers the port in the Android audio-effect chain for system-wide processing where ROM routing permits it.

Audio Restart Handling

The Atmos application listens for audio-server restarts so its selected state can be applied again.

Requirements

  • Android 4.2 (SDK 17) or newer.
  • armeabi-v7a, or arm64-v8a with 32-bit ABI support.
  • A 32-bit HIDL audio service; a 64-bit-only or AIDL-only audio service does not match the published requirements.
  • Magisk, Kitsune Mask, KernelSU, or APatch.

Installation

  1. On KernelSU, disable “Unmount Modules by Default” and install a ROM-compatible mount metamodule.
  2. Install Dolby Atmos Magic Revision from the root manager's Modules screen.
  3. Install Audio Modification Library only if another audio modification is present.
  4. Reboot, then complete the documented package and launcher allowlisting when using KernelSU or SUList.
